Please read the following instructions carefully. They will be written on the board as well. You must stay on task today in order to finish by Friday.

Warm up (
Write a LEAD paragraph for the events that happened to you this weekend. 1 Paragraph. 3-4 Senteces minimum for an up stamp.


(1) Finish typing your 1st and/or 2nd Newspaper Article
(2) Follow the instructions on the handout to begin laying out their own articles. Don’t copy the design, create your own layout!
(3) Item #4 (on the handout) clarification: after you have completed typesetting both of your articles, fill in the extra spaces by creating any of the columns listed there. - you will also have time to do this on Thursday.

(4) At the end of the period, save work on My Documents as

1. For Thursday, bring in any pictures or artwork you would like scanned for your newspaper.
