3. An alarming statistic is given: "...about half of all Latino babies born in 2000 will develop diabetes." This describes the community you live in today. How do you feel about this?
4. What does the article say is the cause for the high prevelance of childhood obesity among Latino/as? List 4 and explain.
5. Read the part of the article that says "New Ways to Help Kids Slim Down." Since these statistics deal with your community, which program from what state sound best for your community?
